Seminar: Nonlinear Schrodinger equations with genreal traps

Abstract: We will discuss some of the recent progress on the almost sure globawel-posedness and the Gibbs measures construction associated with the focusing nonlinear Schrodinger equation with harmonic and anharmonic potentials. ln particular, inthe case ofa subharmonic potential, we observe a novel critical nonlinearity (belowthe usual mass-critical exponent) for which the Gibbs measures exhibit a phasetransition.
